I keep waiting for the pain to go away.
I keep waiting for the dream to officially die.
Just die already
I keep telling it.
JUST DIE
So I'll stop waiting.

wanting
something
I cannot
have.

I keep waiting for the longing to subside.
I keep waiting for the hope to fade.
Just fade away
I keep telling it
JUST GO
So I'll stop waiting,
So I'll stop wishing.

grasping
for something
I cannot
hold.

I keep waiting for the sorrow to end,
yet here we sit, together.
Down on our knees
Praying and begging,
How I long to let it go.
The waiting seems
to never
end.
